rims on tv
how will 15x8 0 offset rims on 195/50/15 tires look on a 89 tv..does anybody have pics? wil they rub? show them off

Re: rims on tv
They may bolt up but would stick out too far (about 2"). Those are very low profile tires though, I suspect they would rub, but that's hard to determine without a trial. I wouldn't expect the sliding door to open (would hit the R/R tire). Tim

Re: rims on tv
Ok so I got around to putting on the 15x8 and they fit real nice look great no rubbing what's so ever I just can't open the side door... To good to be true right is there anybody in the forum that has the fix for this problem? I know I've seen some previas with a door extender is there one for the old tv? Please help it looks to clean on the rims and tires way better then I expected so I want to get it going thanks in advance

Re: rims on tv
I'm not sure what it entails to extend the door on a Previa, but the slide mechanisms on our vans are very similar. I would think you could retrofit that extender on a van door.

Ok ok do you know where I can buy one??

Re: rims on tv
No, I didn't know they were available until you mentioned it in your previous post. Maybe the Previa guys made them?

Re: rims on tv
Here's a thread covering fabrication of the Previa extension you are asking about. Something similar should work for the Van. Thttp://www.vipstylecars.com/forums/s...a-sliding-door
