Re: best place to get OEM parts

Hi all - got my 89 4WD 5-Speed DX in for an engine rebuild and my 89 2WD Auto LE in for new front rotors/pads/calipers. My shop is having a bit more trouble this year than last getting parts. What’s the latest on this topic? TIA and happy motoring!

One OEM solution on engine parts was Toyota forklift dealers. The same engine was used in forklifts.

While not OEM, in my trials and tribulations with wierdness I have found Federated/Fisher auto parts very helpful.

Have you punched in the oem part numbers and done a search on the googler/ fleabay?

Now back to work on snowblowers. Best of luck.

Thanks Kombi. Is the fork lift engine compatible with the van application? I’ve often wondered about that since there are so many forklift dealers/parts and diminishing number of vans.
