I can't remember the last time our Previa Radio buttons illuminated (Radio model 11709). I anticipated replacing the bulbs with a T5 LED replacement similar to the HVAC slider bulbs powered from the fan switch.
Unfortunately, when I removed the radio and opened the front panel to access the light bulbs, I discovered 17 (SEVENTEEN!!!!) hard-wired tiny bulbs with the little green rubbers.
What are the chances all (17) bulbs went bad over the past 26 years? Curious if there might be power issue reaching the tiny light bulbs for the radio buttons.
Only the LED display panel still illuminates.
Has anyone managed to replace these (17) radio bulbs with LEDs to match the LED replacements in the instrument cluster and HVAC controls?
