I recently purchased a 1987 toyota vanwagon 4wd manual. For about a month now I've been driving it around with no issues. Last week a bunch of marmots got underneath it and destroyed and chewed through a bunch of my wiring and a couple hoses mainly around the battery compartment at which point the van would no longer start. I've had pretty difficult time getting everything back in order being that the previous owner did a insanely cobbled together rewiring job. Yesterday after rewiring a bunch of the battery cables I was finally able to get it to crank again previously it had just made a clicking sound. Now the engine will crank but wont turn over, I'm trying to figure out where in the wiring is disconnected or damaged that could cause this.
