    Water pump

    Hey ya'll- I just installed 2 new Flojet water pumps (one for hot, one for cold)into my 1991 Toyota Lite Ace and they are not sucking water from the tanks. I replaced the pumps with the same ones that were in there previously and the pumps turn on when I turn the switch on, but no water comes through. They're supposed to be self priming, so wondering if anyone can help me troubleshoot that? The distance is about 10 feet that the water has to travel and I already test the pumps with a bucket of water and that works fine. Thank you!

    10 feet might be too long for them to self prime, depending on the pump model.
