    Re: AC Idler Pulley

Nice. That's what I thought. Should have changed this out when I replaced the fan clutch!!! There appears to be only one tensioner adjustment bolt on the top. That right? Thanks very much for the pic.

    Shorted Battery

Hello everyone. I mistakenly bridged the battery with a long wrench, which created a large spark, and now the van doesn't start. When I turn the ignition to the on position, the dash lights up as it...
  8. Re: Overheating van, coolant loss (a lot), water pump shot?

When I flushed the system the water was crystal clear, so I will probably skip the block drain. I will checkout your write-up. Thanks.
  9. Re: Overheating van, coolant loss (a lot), water pump shot?

Interesting. Yes, the recovery hose was physically stopped up with something that I had to blow/wash through before reattaching the hose. After I repaired this, I tried to see if the recovery tank...

Spray some PB Blaster on the nut/stud area. Let it soak in overnight. It should come off easily.

    Re: This was my thermostat!!

Just did my thermostat and the back end was broken off and I had to fish it out with a magnet. That's what time and intense heat does, I guess.

Terrence, quick follow up. I assume that you have to remove the passenger's side access panel and the fan shroud to do this job, right?
