Well, I changed my valve cover yesterday. I followed steps from forums and manuals. However, when it came to changing out the 4 spark plug gaskets on valve cover, it was suggested to just push them in with your fingers and they "should" pop out. Gremlins were with me and they were a challenge because they were and wouldn't come out.
Here is what I used for taking them out and putting them back in, "if" you face this problem. Place a 1 1/4" inch socket (most gear heads will have one) on the gasket (which is a perfect diameter) and with a rubber mallet gentle tap them out from the outside of the valve cover in. To get the new ones' in, work from the inside out but as noted on other forums, make sure the tapered size goes in first, IMPORTANT. The person who installed the gaskets previously had them in backwards.

I hope this little tidbit helps new "eggers" like me.
