Window lock switch,, need some help...

Dang, issues with the 'window lock' switch.
The button came out,, and ability to open, close the passenger has ceased.
... 1--Does the button need to be up or down, for that window to work?
2... The two copper contacts in there, they should be connected, circuit closed, for the window to work? perhaps there was a connector piece that disappeared when the button came out.
    3... Anyone know a quick and easy fix?Name: 20201210_135809.jpg

    Re: Window lock switch,, sorted!

Ahah! Got the answer! The button in the 'up' position,*no* contact,, is when the passenger window will work**.
......In the picture, the button mechanism on top is removed, then the white contact panel can be pried up with a knife tip,, it then sits at the same level as the panel surface,as in the picture, contact disengaged... and presto,, all good**!

..........................**so long as everything else is working. <;~]
