1997 Previa stalling issue
The van might run for half an hour then start and die over and over again for five minutes. I can make it run fine jumping the fuel pump from the diagnostic box. I have cleaned the grounds, swapped MAF sensors and installed a new fuel pump, fuel filter and pump relay. What should I look at now wiring, ecm?
All help appreciated thanks

Re: 1997 Previa stalling issue
Keep an eye on the fp to ground voltage in the diagnostic connector port while driving. The voltage will go to around 9-10 volts under light load. See if the van is stalling while the voltage is low. If yes, suspect a weak fuel pump or something wrong with the fuel pump resistor or fuel system relay circuit.
There may also be high fuel trims around +20% and a p0171 code.
If low voltage causes a problem, you can jumper the relay itself or jumper the fuel pump resistor connector. Thee fuel pump resistor is located bolted to the body under or nearby the airbox.
