Replace Fuel Filter Housing 86 van

My fuel filter housing is leaking, it looks like the steel tube pulled out of the housing.

Does anyone know where to find a new housing. I can't find it on the net.

Or is it reasonable to just replace the fuel filter with an line system?

Hmm, my 86 (2.2 gasoline) doesn't have any fuel filter housing. It is a metal canister with a banjo bolt, top and bottom.

Jan-Willem is correct. This is a canister type filter and is replaced as a whole unit. If the canister itself is leaking then a new filter is all you need to purchase. If the outlet pipe on the top of the filter is leaking(it's hard to see in your pic as it gets a bit pixilated when I zoom) then you may be better off replacing or repairing the pipe rather than re-engineering the plumbing system. Keep in mind there is a copper sealing washer on either side of the top banjo fitting that need to be replaced and should be included with a new filter.

If you get frustrated because there is no room for your wrenches, and that everything is metric, and that you dropped one of the washers for the thousands something time.
Then be happy that you do not own a 2012 civic 1.6 diesel… that is my other car. Because it is a diesel, it needs a new fuel filter every other service. And when you fighting to replace it, every passing hour you start doubting yourself more, that taking out the engine would have been easier. It is an incredibly tight engine bay, transversely mounted engine, and the fuel filter is tightly squeezed between the engine and the firewall. Zero visibility, my hand does not even fit in there, never mind adult sized tools and as the only way in, is from the bottom, all of the diesel in the filter will drain right on your face.
After that, changing the fuel filter on the van, is a pleasant experience
