just puller the board out behind the blower motor the ceremic block was cracked and one solder point broken. I resoldered it and now all the blower setting high to low work and electric burnt smell gone RESOLDERING fixed the low setting not working but two days later I had to replace the entire unit once the cracked ceramic block split in two. That was what caused the burning smell. New unit was 35 through parts geek.

It has been fine until last week when the motor quit working on low again , and now it emits a bad electrical burnt smell when running on high. I just uncovered the blower motor which seems fine but does seem not seem to be turning as freely as I think it should , I'll also check the resistor board behind the blower as well. Any tips appreciated thanks 93 previa 290,000.... 6 months on JPM motor and all is well.
